New Days

The Drowning Oz movement is getting under way.

A group of cohorts and I have begun work on the ground in Kentucky to fight the plague that is human trafficking. We have decided that we will not stand for this kind of injustice any longer. We will stand and be a voice to those whose voice has been stolen. We will use informed compassion to act passionately.

We are in the beginning stages, but if you desire to contact us to support or come along side us, let us know. Or, visit one of the links to the side to find out more about other organizations we support.

Also, a new initiative is in the works on the campus of Asbury College. One that could change the lives of kids forever.

And lastly, a book is coming down the pipe for the Movement.

How Long

The screenplay is in the final stages of revision, and How Long is almost to the casting stage. Since the festival deadline is the 22nd of February, we've got a long way to go in a very short amount of time.

Filmmaking

So, I'm learning that it is difficult to start a film production company with no money and no staff.

In preparation for the upcoming festival season, I have been working diligently on a script for a three part short film entitled How Long. Okay, so I actually just started it last night. It is one film which contains three smaller films, each capable of standing on its own, but together they tell a much larger story.

Hope, Forgiveness, Grace, and Love. The antithesis of how the world responds. Stories that truly convey the message that we all carry. That this world is broken and that it is the ultimate goal for YHWH to put it all back together.

So, I'm basically on my own for this one. Should be a fun ride.

A New Direction

So... here's the deal.

Drowning Oz, in additon to calling people to die to themselves so that others may live, will now make the effort to facilitate the Chuch, as a global entity and as individual parts of the body of Christ, to work together, put aside their silly games, and really do work for the Kingdom.

That's what it is all about. The Kingdom. It is near, and we have our part to play in its advance.

Welcome to the movement.
